Please call your health insurance to confirm your coverage and financial costs (ex: copay). Insurance will be verified prior to starting sessions.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Your therapist can provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for a possible percentage of reimbursement, depending on your Out of Network benefits.
It’s recommended that you ask these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Do I have Out of Network benefits?
Payment
Fees for sessions
$150 per session
All Major credit and debit cards, FSA and HSA cards are accepted
If you are choosing to not use insurance or pay out of pocket, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services may cost. Please section below regarding it.
Good Faith Estimate
In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their Federal rights and protections against potential “surprise billing.”
This Act requires that we notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, if a client is uninsured, or if a client elects not to use their insurance.
Additionally, we are required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services. It is difficult to determine the true length of treatment for mental health care and each client has a right to decide how long they would like to participate in psychotherapy services. Therefore, you may receive a fee schedule for the services offered by your therapist. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine how many sessions you may need.
